"She's always cleverly tweaked to make my writing a little punchier"
Laura Brown, freelance PR, Writer and Journalist

I'm Eleanor Turney, an experienced journalist and writer, skilled at writing news, interviews, features, blogs, reports and analysis across print and online media for a range of audiences. I have written for publications including The Guardian, The Stage, the Financial Times and Ideas Tap, and worked for organisations including Old Vic New Voices and Shakespeare's Globe.

Some recent articles of mine can be found in The Guardian, The Stage and A Younger Theatre, where you can also find all my theatre reviews.

I am also a meticulous editor, experienced in liaising with writers, and editing and sub-editing a variety of styles. I am skilled at proofreading, with extremely high levels of spelling and grammar. I have extensive knowledge of the arts, cultural and voluntary sectors, including insight into funding arrangements, politics and management.

I am an extremely articulate speaker, adept at engaging with a diverse audience. I have spoken at the Milton Keynes Arts and Heritage Forum, Twespians panels on Press and PR, Salisbury Playhouse's Young Reviewers group and Warwick University's Careers Service.

I can help with copywriting, press releases, editing, proofreading, social media and speaking/workshops, among other things. Please click on one of the sections above, or contact me for more information.
